How to get better skydive mobility (Glide Armor) in TotK (Zelda Tears of the Kingdom)

Being in the air is the best.

One of my favorite activities in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is diving off of a Sky Island and seeing Hyrule from above. However, I've noticed that Link moves slower through the air than I'd like, and even with diving, falling, and using the Paraglider, I didn't often reach my targeted landing spot. This led me to discover the Glide Armor and increase Link's airspeed. Here's how you can do so.

How to increase air mobility in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

You can equip the Glide Armor set to increase your air mobility in Tears of the Kingdom. This three-piece set increases Link's air mobility and gives you greater control when falling and diving. However, you must first unlock all three pieces of the Glide Armor in Tears of the Kingdom.

Where to find the Glide Armor in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

To find the Glide Armor set in Tears of the Kingdom, you must find Courage, Bravery, and Valor Islands. Each of these is found in the Sky Islands and requires you to complete a diving challenge. I recommend equipping each piece of Glide Armor you get to make the next challenge easier. After completing the challenge, you are rewarded a piece of Glide Armor, but you can redo the challenge to get more rewards. Here is where to get the Glide Armor set in Tears of the Kingdom.

Glide Shirt Location

The Glide Shirt can be found on Courage Island, floating above Hyrule Ridge at coordinates -2335, 0782, 0609. Use Lindor's Brow Skyview Tower to reach the island and glide your way to it. Speak to the Zonai Construct to initiate the challenge.

You must complete the challenge by paying one Zonai Charge, diving through all of the rings, and landing in the water below. You must do so within 35 seconds, or you have to restart the run. Missing a ring will also end the run.

Glide Tights Location

Head to Bravery Island floating above the Great Hyrule Forest at coordinates 0230, 2071, 1984. You must complete the challenge here by diving through each ring in the allotted time of 35 seconds. Pay the Zonai Charge and complete the challenge to unlock the Glide Tights.

Glide Mask Location

The Glide Mask is obtained by completing the challenge on Valor Island in under 35 seconds. The island is floating above Lanayru, northeast of the Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower, at coordinates 4476, -0812, 1115.

You must dive through each ring, avoiding the floating islands in between, and land in the pool below. Missing a ring will disqualify you from that run, and you must pay one Zonai Charge to attempt the challenge.
