How to get more inventory space (Hestu Location) in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK)

Not enough space with all the rocks in my pockets!

From the moment I started playing The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, I knew I would have too small an inventory. Fuse capability introduced crafting level, bringing a whole new game of looting and gathering. Fortunately, Nintendo was kind enough to introduce a mechanic to make more space for my sticks and stones! Here is how to enlarge your inventory capacity in TotK.

To make your inventory capacity larger in Tears of the Kingdom, you must find Hestu, a friendly NPC who can increase your carrying space. You can find Hestu on a hill past the New Serenne Stable while traveling to Hebra, which is the northwest marker on your map that Purah places.

Once you meet him, start a conversation to get a small quest for him. He will give you additional inventory space in exchange for some Korok Seeds. To obtain them, you will need to kill some trees, which are vulnerable to fire, so be sure to use your Fuse ability to craft some arrows for the job.

Once you are done and have the seeds with you, return to Hestu to bring him the Seeds. He will ask for one Seed when you expand your inventory for the first time, but the number of Seeds will grow the more upgrades you do. Hestu will eventually move locations to Korok Forest or Lookout Landing. So, check these locations as you progress. His location will seemingly change based on story progression.
