How to rocket upward in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK)

It's the quickest way for Link to get height.

Apparently, the Zonai have been really busy in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom because they've managed to build Link rockets. Players can attach these to many of the movable blocks in the game to send them skyward. How can Link use the rocket to propel himself upward, though? Fortunately, the answer is very simple.

How to use the rockets in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK)

In order for Link to use the rockets in Tears of the Kingdom for himself, he needs to first fuse the rocket to his shield. Any shield will do for this. Once this is done, players can press the ZL button on the Switch to actually bring out the shield, and the rocket will go up on its own.

It's important to note, however, that the rocket won't go up forever. When I tested it, the rocket blew up after I was about 20 feet into the air. A good measure of its distance is the Zonai ruins that are blocking off the path to Gerudo Desert. If Link uses a rocket there, it will get him to the top of that structure and nothing more. This can be improved, however, with stronger Zonai charges.

Rockets can be a little rare in Tears of the Kingdom, but there are a couple of areas that will always have a couple. There is a sky island by the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower that has a platform with a couple of rockets on them (coordinates 0921, -2112, 0558). The same goes for the East Gerudo Sky Archipelago (coordinates -2221, 2382, 1120), which is nice because players can also get fairies there.
