I was so proud of myself the first time I successfully tamed a wild horse in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom...Only to immediately kill it by accidentally slashing it with my sword. I felt SO guilty until I learned you could resurrect horses at the Horse God Fountain—it's like nothing ever happened! Here's where to find the Horse God Fountain and Malanya in TotK.
Where to find Malanya Horse God Fountain in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom - exact map location
You can find Malanya the Horse God at the Horse God Fountain in the Akkala region, specifically at Bloodleaf Lake at map coordinates 4294, 3207, 0149.
The easiest way to reach the fountain is to go to East Akkala Stable and then follow the northwest path until you reach Bloodleaf Lake. Walk through it to the other side, where you'll see a wooden bridge. Malanya is at the end of it.
How to get an Endura Carrot in Zelda TotK
You'll need an Endura Carrot to free the Horse God from its flower bud and unlock its services. I've found that the easiest way to grab one is to head to the cherry blossom tree in Hyrule Field at coordinates 0310, 0541, 0022, where you'll find at least one Endura Carrot around its roots.
Alternatively, check out my How to get Endura Carrots in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom guide for the full list of ways to obtain the rare vegetable.
How to resurrect horses in Tears of the Kingdom
If you pay Malanya one Roasted Endura Carrot, the Horse God will revive one of your fallen horses, provided they were registered to a stable before they died. This is useful if, like me, you've got a habit of accidentally killing your steeds in the dumbest ways possible.

Simply speak to him and select Revive a horse, then give him the Roasted Endura Carrot and choose which horse you'd like to bring back to life (if you've killed more than one).
How to get a Roasted Endura Carrot in Zelda TotK
Obtaining a Roasted Endura Carrot is easy! Start a fire by dropping a bundle of Wood and some Flint on the ground, then strike the Flint with a weapon to create a spark. Once the fire burns, drop an Endura Carrot next to the flames to roast it.
How to buff horses' stats in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
Malanya offers a second service: buffing a horse's stats. Select Enhance a horse, and you'll be taken to a menu listing all of your stabled horses.
The Horse God can buff the following stats in TotK:
This time, you'll need to have actual cooked meals to increase a horse's stats, and they're different for each horse depending on stats it already has. For example, to buff my regular brown horse's Strength, I needed one Copious Fried Wild Greens, but to improve Zelda's Golden Horse, Malayna asked for three Vegetable Curry, three Hot Buttered Apple, and three Carrot Cake.
Note that some rare horses, such as Epona, cannot have their stats buffed.
