Definitive Garden Tower Defense Tier List – All Units Ranked

Garden Tower Defense is yet another Roblox Tower Defense game, that follows the same principle as most others, only this time, you're planting a garden and using the produce to defend against invaders, in this case, bugs. Getting new units is the standard gacha; powerful ones are hard to get, and we're here to help you know which is which. Without further ado, here is the Definitive Garden Tower Defense Tier List - All Units Ranked.

If you want to make some progress in Garden Tower Defense, that Tomato plant you start with isn't going to be enough. You'll need to get more, and you'll need to keep an eye out on those in the higher ranks.

SS-Tier

UnitInfo

Bloodvine
+ Best damage dealer in the game, and it's not even close.
+ It can cover half the map when you upgrade the range
+ An absolute boss destroyer
- It's a bit pricy to place, but very much worth it

Corn
+ Very good damage and great at taking out tough enemies
+ Ability cooldown is very forgiving
- Very expensive the place
- You need to be a VIP to get this one

Peas in a Pod
+ Amazing during the first few waves
+ Can take out a bunch of low-level units without even trying
+ Good range
- Not great for late game and a bit pricy for the first few waves

S-Tier

UnitInfo

Sunflower
+ Really good damage
+ Super effective against bosses
- The range is just okay
- A bit expensive

Palm Tree
+ Very good balance of damage and range, even without upgrades
- Somewhat wasted if placed early in the match, but shines during late-game

Money Tree
+ It doesn't attack, but it gives you more money
+ Very cheap for what it's worth
- Not very useful during late-games, especially on higher difficulties

Pineapple Cannon
+ Probably the best units for the early game
+ Very cheap to place
+ Good range
- Even though it's ideal for taking out small units, it's not good for much else

A-Tier

UnitInfo

Broccoli
+ Extremely powerful damage
- Everything else (it's slow, the range is horrible, and it's expensive)

Bamboo
+ Similar to the Pineapple Cannon in terms of performance
- More expensive than the Pineapple Cannon and also useless in late game

Watermelon
+ Can absolutely devastate hordes of small enemies with AoE splash attacks
- Long cooldown and high price

Baby Carrots
+ Can come in handy for almost any enemy type
+ Really great when upgraded
- A bit expensive during early-game

Gnome
+ Surprisingly good early unit, especially for the price
- Short range and very limited when it comes to late-game

B-Tier

UnitInfo

Grapes
+ Decent AoE Splash attack
+ Good range
- For a Unit you can only get with Robux, we were expecting a lot more

Chilli Pepper
+ Blows up and does a ton of damage. It can literally save your entire game if you use it at the right time
- Once it attacks, it explodes and you have to make a new one

Potato
+ Similar to the Gnome but slightly stronger
- More expensive than the gnome, especially if you want to fully upgrade it

C-Tier

UnitInfo

Farmer
+ Good for early games on low difficulty
+ Cheap to place
- No point in using it if you have the Gnome

Rose Trap
+ If placed early, it can slow down enemies and damage them a bit
- Almost useless against tougher enemies

Cactus
+ Pretty good DPS unit for early game and as you build your arsenal of units
- Short range and should be replaced with better units

D-Tier

UnitInfo

Tomato Plant
+ You get it for free, and it can carry you until you get better Units
- Not good for much else

Mushroom
+ Okay, splash damage during early-game
- Expensive for what it's worth

There you have it. Have fun building your ultimate defense... uhhh... garden, and hope you can get your hands on some of those S-Tier Units. If you're looking for another Roblox Tower Defense game, check out Tower Defense Simulator (TDS).
