How to Craft Items
You can craft items on the Crafting Bench in your base (a chopped tree stump next to the Soup Man). Place two components onto the tree trunk in their respective spaces, and if it's a compatible recipe, they will be magically combined into a new item automatically. On the other hand, you can make Soups simply by giving an item to the Soup Man.

Hover your mouse over the Crafting Bench and press E to place the items where their respective prompts appear.
How to get More Crafting Materials
You can't craft anything unless you have all of the materials needed for the recipes. There are a few different methods of getting more Crafting Materials.
- After you capture a biome's flag, Goblins will deliver crafting materials to your base.
- You can trade items with Gnomes who randomly appear in the forest.
- You can break items and sometimes find loot in them e.g. the urns in the Mausoleum.
- You can raid enemy bases and steal from their chests and stockpiles of items.
