How-to Get Dust in Hearthstone – Fastest & Quickest Ways to Earn Arcane Dust!

The only resource for crafting!

In Hearthstone, Arcane Dust is the resource used for crafting specific cards. It can be acquired by disenchanting cards in your collection, completing quests, and playing in the Arena. Hearthstone follows a similar trend as other live-service games in that it makes crafting resources rarely, so it can be a challenge to collect enough to craft powerful items.

How to get Dust fast

As mentioned, there are several ways to accumulate Dust, and each of them has its benefits and limits. If you want to gather Dust as fast as possible, you'll have to use all the methods listed here.

Option One: Disenchanting

For most players, disenchanting cards will be the most common way to get Arcane Dust. However, this is not the best way. You are taking a big hit on every card you disenchant, and it's best to hold on to your cards, if possible. Holding on to cards allows you to cash in if they are nerfed or added to the Hall of Fame.

When cards are nerfed, they can be disenchanted for their full Arcane Dust crafting value. This means that if you're sitting on any cards that have been nerfed, now is the best time to disenchant them.

Even though disenchanting nerfed cards gets you more bang for your buck, this isn't a fast method of getting Arcane Dust. Major updates that nerf cards aren't common, and they're not guaranteed for any card. If you want to disenchant your cards now, you can use the list below to see how much you'll receive for each type of card.

  • Common: 5 Arcane Dust
  • Golden Common: 50 Arcane Dust
  • Rare: 20 Arcane Dust
  • Golden Rare: 100 Arcane Dust
  • Epic: 100 Arcane Dust
  • Golden Epic: 400 Arcane Dust
  • Legendary: 400 Arcane Dust
  • Golden Legendary: 1,600 Arcane Dust

Option Two: Questing

Generally, quests in Hearthstone only reward gold or new packs. However, occasionally some events can have big rewards, including big piles of Dust. At the moment, there are no even quests that you can complete specifically for Dust. However, you can complete quests that earn you packs and disenchant the packs to get Arcane Dust on the fly.

Option Three: Arena

Arena is a competitive game mode in Hearthstone where you must draft the best set of cards and use it against other players' draft sets. Your rewards are based on how many wins you get with your drafted set. This is usually the simplest and most efficient way to get Arcane Dust since it doesn't require you to invest money or burn through your extra cards.

It's worth mentioning that, according to the Hearthstone Wiki, getting 10+ wins with a draft in Arena will rarely get you Arcane Dust as a reward. Thus, it's important to consider the time investment for each draft deck.

The rewards in Arena can be substantial. If you win all 12 games, you can earn gold, packs, and golden cards. While you aren't flat out getting Arcane Dust at higher win totals, you can use the gold to purchase packs, leading to cards you can disenchant if you have no intention of using them.

That's it for the fastest ways to accumulate Arcane Dust in Hearthstone!
