Banned Countries

Currently, there are officially three countries that have banned Roblox. The three are Jordan, United Arab Emirates, and North Korea. China has a special version of Roblox and has banned the classic one. Since these countries have chosen to ban the use of Roblox in their territories, their currencies are not supported on the site.

Gift Cards

Gift cards are an alternative way to purchase Robux. These gift cards are sold by independent retailers, like Walmart or Target. They are usually sold in a physical format that you redeem using a code, but Roblox also offers digital gift cards on their site. The cost of gift cards in countries other than America is not immediately determinable. This is because your local retailer chooses the price of the gift card, therefore it is not a matter of simply exchanging to currency.

When you are purchasing gift cards, make sure it is only from reputable sellers. Avoid sites that seem off and use caution when giving any site your financial information.

Roblox Premium Subscription

The Roblox Premium subscription is an alternative Robux option that is best for gamers who play Roblox very often. Those who play the game frequently will get the most benefit. The premium subscription comes with many perks, such as:

  • Access to special items and members-only discounts
  • In-game benefits, such as boosters and levels
  • 10% increase for the same price when buying Robux
  • Ability to trade items with other players
  • Either 450, 1000, or 2200 Robux per month (depending on the tier purchased)

The price for the Roblox Premium will vary between locations and which subscription you get. You can check your local cost of the Roblox monthly subscription by visiting the Roblox Premium Membership page. The membership will bill you every month, so make sure you keep track of it. If you wish to cancel the membership and don't know how, check out our guide on how to cancel Roblox Premium.
