While you can pick any Killer to create havoc in the Violence District, it is essential to select a Killer who matches your gameplay style and is very hard to counter to win matches consistently. So, if you are a newbie player and don't know which Killer to unlock first in the game, I have the perfect Killer Tier List Guide for you to read and understand each Killer.
All Killers in the Violence District, Ranked
Below, I have ranked all six Killers in the Violence District according to their overall potential in match scenarios and ease of use. Go through each of them and make a wise decision on whether they will suit your gameplay style or not.
Tier | Killer Name |
---|---|
S | The Hidden |
A | The Abysswalker, The Slasher |
B | The Masked |
C | The Stalker |
D | The Killer |
S-Tier
- The Hidden: The Hidden is the best killer in the Violence District. The main reasons are invisibility and leap. You can go invisible while moving or even while standing, while the jump allows you to leap across objects at will. On top of that, the cooldown is extremely low, allowing you to spam the abilities at will and chase down any targets effortlessly. Perks like Echo Location and Enhanced Senses also fit well with the moveset, as you can track them much more easily using their auras and your improved hearing.
A-Tier
- The Abysswalker: The Abysswalker is another top-tier Killer in the game that is fun to play and easy to use. Most of his abilities, like Dark Severance and Abyssal Burst, are just horizontal slashes produced by his sword that travel across the map, inflicting specific adverse effects on the player. The best part is that the slashes can pass through walls and can be launched from almost anywhere on the map towards the generator, while you can focus on chasing players. The perks are also pretty good, like Abyssal Covenant, which helps protect the generators from being repaired by alerting the walker.
- The Slasher: The Slasher is the best Killer for newbie players. There are two reasons for it. Firstly, the abilities like Lake Mist and Pursuit, which provide invisibility and speed boost, are common across most other titles, making the player comfortable the moment they start. Secondly, it is the only free Killer in the title. Perks like Brutal Strength and Offscreen Scare are also pretty good, scaling your base abilities as you level up, making you much stronger. Basically, it is a solid Killer that is extremely easy to use.
B-Tier
- The Masked: The Masked is one of the most powerful and fun killers to play in Violence District, as everything is RNG-based. Every 30 Seconds in the game, players gain access to a mask that grants unique abilities, like the rat mask, which provides complete stealth, and the rabbit mask, which offers faster vaults. Each one is unique and fits the game perfectly. While this may not work in proper party/team scenarios, it is very effective in public servers where most people don't speak with each other. The only downside is the perks, which are different from the Mask abilities and don't go hand in hand. Still, something like Crackdown or Combo Streak is effective in bringing down the Survivors.
C-Tier
- The Stalker: The Stalker is like a slightly downgraded version of the Slasher. Why? While the Slasher abilities are meant to target the entire group, the Stalker abilities are catered to target a single player or a small group. You start with Stalk and then fill the bar to use Evil's Gasp, only to finish with the Hunt Mode, where the Killer gets movement speed, action speed boost, and removes any undetectable status from the players. It also gets better with perks like Eternal Torment that apply vulnerability to players even when they try to stun him. He is good but not that great!
D-Tier
- The Killer: The Killer is very weak compared to other characters in the game, mainly because he has only one base ability. The only ability Frenzy provides Jason is to vault jump and gain movement speed for combos. The duration of this buff is very short, forcing players to stay on the move to make the most of the ability. The perks, on the other hand, are somewhat good and really help in bringing out the value of the Frenzy buff. For example, the Sloopy Mess allows tracking enemies much better using the Blood Stains, while Terror Spread enables Winded Status while survivors repair a generator. Overall, it's very timing-based, making it challenging to use, and there are many better options in the above tiers.
