- Its active ability, Heightened Awareness, lets you avoid ambushes when full, and has a 25% chance to turn it into an Advantage Encounter, letting your party make the first move.
- When paired with DPS-focused options such as the Kitkin, they make for a fantastic team all around.

| Class | Use | Position |
|---|---|---|
| Shellkin | Tank | Front/Left |
| Waykin | Healer | End/Right |
| Woolkin | DPS | Center |
Enemies tend to target the leftmost character the most, so you should always put in a tank to your left, like the Shellkin here. The Waykin is our healer and should be kept for last. On the other hand, while the Woolkin is a dual-tank DPS unit, it has been shifted to the center, where it can hold its own.
This trio follows the holy trifecta of Tank/Healer/DPS, and should carry you through the majority of the game. You can choose to follow more exotic builds later if you plan to (such as replacing units with Purrkins and Kitkins).
