The Sailor Piece Artifacts system is another way to boost your stats and prepare for the late-game push. However, unlike the Cosmetics, Auras, and Blessings, the Artifacts system is a bit more complicated. You need to first enable Artifact drops, level them up using a special currency, and choose from multiple artifacts. That’s why we’ve put together this detailed guide that will help you completely understand the Sailor Piece Artifacts system.
How to Get Artifacts in Sailor Piece
Artifacts are dropped by all mobs, mini-bosses, and World Bosses of Sailor Piece. However, before you can get Artifacts, you need to enable the drops. For that, you’ll need to complete the following requirements:
- Reach Level 2,500.
- 500,000 Money
- 500 Gems
After completing all three requirements, you can enable artifact drops using the Artifacts tab in the Inventory or by talking to the Artifacts NPC at Snow Island. The table below lists all the Sailor Piece Artifact Sets and their drop locations:
| Artifact Set | Where to Get |
|---|---|
| Ashen Chronicles Set | Dropped by the Mobs and Mini-bosses at Jungle Island and Starter Island. World Bosses also have a small chance to drop. |
| Void Artifact Set | Dropped by all the World Bosses. |
| Crownless Set | Dropped by the Mobs and Mini-bosses at Desert Island and Snow Island. World Bosses also have a small chance to drop. |
| Black Horizon Set | Dropped by the Mobs and Mini-bosses at Shibuya Station and Hueco Mundo. World Bosses also have a small chance to drop. |
| Celestial Rupture Set | Dropped by the Mobs and Mini-bosses at Shinjuku Island, Slime Island, Soul Society, Academy Island, and Judgement Island. World Bosses also have a small chance to drop. |
Each artifact set has four pieces: Helmet, Gloves, Body, and Boots. When equipped, each piece will buff a Main Stat and a Sub Stat. Read on for a detailed breakdown of how the sets and individual artifact pieces will affect your stats.

Understanding Sailor Piece Artifact Stats
Every piece of Artifact will buff one Main Stat and one Sub Stat. The Main Stat for each piece of artifact is different, but the Sub Stats are all the Same. See the table below to learn more about the Main and Sub Stats buffed by the various artifact pieces:
| Artifact Type | Main Stat | Sub Stats |
|---|---|---|
| Helmet | Defense or Flat Defense. | Crit Chance Crit Damage Damage Defense Flat Defense Damage Reduction Lifesteal HP Regeneration |
| Gloves | Damage. | |
| Body | Any stat in the game. | |
| Boots | Damage, Damage Reduction, Defense, or Flat Defense. |
The exact values of both the Main and Sub Stats will vary depending on the rarity of the artifact piece. Common pieces will offer the lowest stats, while Legendary pieces will have the highest stats. That said, there are ways to upgrade your artifact pieces and even ensure higher rarity drops. Read on to learn more about that.
Note: Artifacts can only buff one stat at a time. So, the Main Stat can’t be repeated in the Sub Stats. For example, if you get Damage from Boots as a Main Stat, you won’t get Damage as a Sub Stat.
How to Upgrade Artifacts in Sailor Piece

When you open the Artifacts Menu in Sailor Piece, click on any piece of Artifact, and a menu will appear on the right side of the screen. On that side, there’s an Upgrade button right next to the Equip button. When you click on that button, a pop-up menu will appear.
In that pop-up menu, you’ll see a Use Dust option. Click on the ‘+’ sign to add Dust.
Once you’ve added the required amount of Dust, click on the Upgrade button to level up/upgrade that piece of artifact. You can either upgrade your artifacts one at a time or upgrade up to 50 artifacts simultaneously, provided you have enough Dust.
The maximum level that an artifact can reach is Level 15. It takes 287 Dust to reach that level.
How to Get Dust in Sailor Piece
The only way to obtain Dust in Sailor Piece is by deleting redundant artifacts. So, the more artifacts you farm and sell, the more Dust you’ll have. Dust is a non-tradeable item, and it does not show up in your inventory either. The only way to check the amount of Dust you have is by checking the Artifact Upgrade menu.
As mentioned above, you’ll need 287 Dust to take any artifact from Level 0 to Level 15. Legendary artifacts give the most Dust (24) when sold.
How to Get High-Rarity Artifacts in Sailor Piece

Artifacts can be of four different rarities: Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. When you first unlock the artifact system, there’s a 90% chance that you’ll get Common Artifacts from all sources. However, there’s a way to increase the drop chances of higher rarity artifacts.
Go to the Snow Island and talk to the Artifact Milestone NPC. He’s standing right next to the Artifact NPC. When you talk to him, an Artifact Collection Progress menu will appear on your screen. You’ll start at Level 0 and can go all the way up to Level 40. As you progress through these levels, the chances of high-rarity drops will keep increasing.
To earn Data Rank EXP, you need to collect as many artifacts as you can. You’ll earn 1 Data Rank EXP every time you get an Artifact.
Apart from the increase in drop chances of high-rarity artifacts, you’ll also get different rewards for every level. These rewards include Race Rerolls, Trait Rerolls, Haki Color Rerolls, and more.
