After a couple of delays, the Sailor Piece Sea 2 Update is finally here. It brings plenty of more content, including more islands to grind and sea beasts to fight. However, before you can enjoy Sea 2, you need to unlock it by completing a questline at a new Sea 1 island. Follow this guide to easily unlock Sea 2 in Sailor Piece.
How to Unlock Sea 2 in Sailor Piece
To unlock Sea 2 in Sailor Piece, you need to complete the questline from the Sea Traveler NPC at World Island. Open the teleport portal at any island and scroll to the bottom to find the World Island. Teleport there and go to the central area to find the Sea Traveler NPC.
However, before you can talk to him to start the Sea 2 quest, you must fulfill the following requirements:
- Reach Level 12,500.
- Reach Ascension 5+.
If you’ve already completed these requirements, talk to the Sea Traveler NPC to start the Sea 2 Quest. For this questline, you need to complete the following two quests:
Quest 1 - Lost Fragments
For the first quest, you need to find and pick up 2 Ancient Fragments in Sailor Piece. Ancient Fragments can spawn in different locations across all the islands of Sea 1. These spawn every 15 minutes and despawn after 5 minutes if not collected by anyone.
So, if you want to get Ancient Fragments in Sailor Piece, you’ll have to explore all the islands and hope that at least two spawn in your server. You’ll definitely have to hop a few servers before you find 2 Ancient Fragments, but knowing the exact locations should make it a bit easier.
Note: Do not confuse these Ancient Fragments with the ones dropped by the Great Mage Boss in Sea 2. These are only obtainable by finding them across Sea 1.
Quest 2 - Map Reconstruction
After finding the 2 Ancient Fragments, you can start the second quest, which requires you to collect 7 Map Pieces dropped by the different bosses of Sea 1. See the table below to learn exactly which bosses to grind for the Map Pieces in Sailor Piece:

Once you’ve completed both these quests, you’ll have unlocked access to Sea 2. Go back to the World Island, and you’ll see a portal next to the Sea Traveler NPC. Interact with that portal to teleport to Sea 2 in Sailor Piece.
