Mario Golf: Super Rush was released on June 25, 2021, and with it came classic and new game modes. One of the new game modes added is Golf Adventure, which is a single player RPG-esque mode. In this guide, we explain all the basic information you need to know to make the best of this exciting new way to enjoy the game.
Basic Info
Golf Adventure is a single player game mode, and the player you select must be a Mii character. You join the ranks of an elite golf country club and your primary goal is to rise through the ranks from Rookie to Pro. This game mode includes different aspects that you won't find in any other game mode, such as boss levels and earning experience to level up from training and winning matches.
Golf Adventure is a great way to learn how to play the game in general, since it provides an in-depth tutorial complete with tips for quickly becoming proficient at sinking shots.
Primary Play Style
Golf Adventure uses all other game types in the game. This means that different levels will have different methods of play. Some of them will mimic Speed Golf, some Standard Golf, and some will even make you fight Bosses. However, as stated above, your primary goal to progress through the story is to win matches by completing whichever goal is assigned to it.
Leveling Up
The primary method of rising through the ranks at the country club is by leveling up and improving their character's stats. Each time you level up your character, you have the option to place stat points in one of five categories. These stat point categories can be seen in the image above.

Bosses
Bosses are a feature exclusive to Golf Adventure mode. These are special levels that you must complete as you progress through the ranks. Playing against them more akin to fighting a boss with ranged attacks and doesn't pit you against them in competitive golf like one might assume. The image above shows a good example of this: The boss is a monstrosity that sets out to attack you, and you use use your skill to take it down first.
Courses
Early in the game you are introduced to a map that outlines courses to which you have access. It provides a better look at where you are in terms of story progress: the more you have revealed, the closer you are to the end of the story. In the map above, you can see that you start off on the Bonnie Greens course. There are six total unlockable courses in the game.
That's all the basic information you need to know about Golf Adventure mode in Mario Golf: Super Rush! Now that you have a basic outline of how this game mode works, you're ready to make your attempt at becoming a golf pro.
