Blood on the Clocktower is the upcoming social deduction board game that was a huge success as a Kickstarter campaign. It was originally scheduled to release in 2020 but was later postponed to 2021. Now we know when the game is coming out.
Blood on the Clocktower is scheduled to release on November 30, 2021.
The game was delayed due to balancing improvements. After community feedback, the creators of Blood on the Clocktower worked to ensure the character balance is at the highest possible quality, so almost every character will interact with one another even after combining characters from different scenarios. One example: combining townsfolk from Bad Moon Rising with a demon from Trouble Brewing.
There is an online emulator of the game available for free for everyone to play. You can find it here. If you cannot wait or cannot get the physical copy of the game, you can set up your own game and play it with friends online right now.
Blood on the Clocktower is a social game that relies on two teams (good and evil) working against each other. The good team wins if they successfully defeat the demon, and the evil team wins if they get rid of every single good player. Its gameplay relies on Day and Night phases and a lot of dialogue between players to deduce who is evil and who is not.
