How to unlock the Pulse Radar in Metroid Dread

Radar online.

Metroid Dread is full of abilities, upgrades, and power-ups for Samus to collect. Using these will allow the player and Samus to overcome the obstacles in her way and escape the planet ZDR. One of these unlockable abilities is the Pulse Radar

The Pulse Radar can be found in Ghavoran. You will first need to defeat the Teal E.M.M.I. and earn the Ice Missile upgrade. With that, you can destroy fiery plants that block Samus' way. Start from the tram past the southern save point. From there, head left and up once you reach the Spider Magnet walls.

Follow the path, blowing up the fiery plant, and then make your way through the Morph Ball tunnels. Keep following these tunnels and you will come out to a room with a Chozo Statue. Approach it and Samus will grab the Item Cube, unlocking the Pulse Radar.

The Pulse Radar uses Aeon similar to the Phantom Cloak and Flash Shift. Hold right on the D-pad to activate this ability. For a limited time, any hidden blocks will turn blue and reveal their location. This ability is great to find secret paths you might otherwise miss. Using the Pulse Radar consumes the whole Aeon bar but quickly recharges.
