How to solve the Caged Wolf Puzzle in Inscryption

Free the wolf inside.

Inscryption is a dark deck-building-based horror game that contains many secrets. These take the form of unique card interactions, disturbing story, and puzzles. A large portion of these puzzles is found within the cabin that the player finds themselves trapped in.

One such puzzle is the Caged Wolf. This is a multi-step puzzle that has a couple of pieces the player will need to put together. For starters, the player can find the Caged Wolf statue on the backside of the cabin next to the skull. They cannot do anything with this piece yet.

First, the player must complete the first three of the four puzzles found inside the cabinet. Completing the third puzzle will reward the player with the Caged Wolf card. This will be added to their deck and they can now play this card during matches. This is the next piece of the puzzle.

The player has two ways to use the Caged Wolf card but both require killing it. They can either sacrifice the card at the sacrificial stones or play the card on the board and allow Leshy to kill it. Once the Caged Wolf card is destroyed, the screen will shake and a noise will play.

Players need to stand up and walk to the Caged Wolf statue. They will see that the cage is broken and they can now pick up the Wolf statue. Players should take this over to the Squirrel statue by the door and insert it to complete the Caged Wolf puzzle.
