Where to find safe houses in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas – Definitive Edition

Stay safe out there.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - Definitive Edition features many safehouses. CJ can earn or purchase these to save his progress throughout the game and hide from the police.

Look on your map for a green house-shaped icon to find the safe houses. A green house means that there is a property for sale. A red house means that it is not for sale but will be later. All safe houses are marked on the radar.

CJ's mother's house is close to the early safehouses in the game, which cost around $10,000. Over time, the player can purchase more safehouses at varying prices.

In every safe house, there is a Wardrobe where players can find all of CJ's unlocked and purchased clothes. When you enter this, you can change your clothes and add or remove extra items. There is also a Save Icon in each house that allows you to save your progress.

Garages are sometimes located outside of houses. Once you park your vehicle in one of these garages, it will remain there until you remove it, so players will always find it there. You will also find some random pictures of girlfriends in some of the houses.
