What are Fractures in Halo Infinite?

Who cares about canon if it looks cool?

Halo Infinite is a live service game that features a great deal of content. Players can enjoy participating in events, playing multiplayer game modes, and earning in-game cosmetic items. One thing that combines two of these is Fractures. You might be wondering what Fractures are in Halo Infinite.

Fractures refer to in-game content that is not canon to the Halo series' lore. During Halo Infinite's seasons, players can participate in Fracture events to earn the corresponding Fracture cosmetics. These are cool-looking items that don't necessarily fit in the Halo universe but are available in multiplayer.

The first of these will be Fractures: Tenrai Event, in which players can earn the Yoroi Samurai Armor and other samurai-themed items. Players can play the game to earn these rewards regardless of if they have the battle pass or not. This means that it is free for all players. This event begins on Nov. 23.

Not much else is known about how players can participate and claim these rewards yet. Also unknown is whether or not players will be able to earn these items later once the event is over. Players should be ready to go once the event drops if they want the Fractures content!
