Dota Underlords: Alliances List – Class Bonuses

We're taking a look at all of the synergy based Alliances that are in Dota: Underlords!
This article is over 5 years old and may contain outdated information

Our Dota Underlords Alliance List shows all of the synergies you can accomplish by combining like units in this new stand-alone game of Auto Chess! Mastering the ability of pairing units together with the same classes is one of the more important abilities you will need to foster to make it far in the game.

Every hero has at least two different Alliances, and if you combine multiple matched Alliance characters together you will gain a bonus for your minions. Each class requires a different amount of heroes combined to gain the bonus. You'll notice that there are vertical lines near the alliance icon, you'll need to fill all of the bubbles in one of those vertical lines to gain the bonus.

Some Alliances require more units than others, it largely depends on the amount of heroes that make up that particular Alliance. A larger alliance like an Assassin requires three minions per vertical line. That means you'd need nine Assassin heroes to gain the full bonus for the class. Blood-Bound, however, requires only two units to gain the bonus, because that particular Alliance only has two units in it!

Update: The Dragon Alliance got a big change in a recent patch, and now has a complete different buff when you have two Dragons on the board. Each Dragon Hero now has a special ability it gains once you complete the Alliance requirement. The Knight Alliance also got a buff, and gets additional defense when standing near other Knights. Scrappy units also now benefit from having less units on the board than your opponent.
