All Characters in All Star Tower Defense, Ranked
All Star Tower Defense has a lifetime supply of units, so don't bother trying to get them all. What you need is a diverse enough crew to cover all challenges. For starters, you need good ground, hill, and air units. Most of the ASTD units can be upgraded during matches to get a hybrid attack type (can hit ground and air).
Having lots of hybrids will make your life easier as you don't have to worry about the sudden collapse of your defenses because of a bunch of air units spamming you. It's also a good idea to evolve units and unlock their superior versions. For example, by evolving Patchface (Mahito) you'll get a much stronger Patchface (Transfigured).
