Pokémon Legends Arceus Arc phone Guide: Features and Controls

One of the very first things you will notice when you start Pokemon Legends: Arceus is that you travel back in time with your smartphone. After waking up in your new world, you soon find the Arc phone. This transformed version of a smartphone is your helpful guide through the Hisui region.

The Arc phone is with you from the very beginning of the game and is there to guide the main character through their journey. The Arc phone allows you to bring up a map of the current area you are in and even mark locations of interest. This is great for remembering the spawn locations of rare Pokemon.

To access the Arc phone and see the map of the area you are currently in, hit the - button on your controller. From there you can move around the map using your thumbsticks. If you press A, then you have the option of placing a marker. You can also hover over permanently marked locations to their names.

It can also show you your quests by pressing Y on the map screen, to help you keep up with what Pokemon you're trying to catch. You can switch between missions and requests once in this menu by using the L and R buttons. While it doesn't have a lot of features for you to use, the ones that it does have ensure that you will constantly be opening your new phone up.
