MLB: The Show 22 is on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and for the first time ever, Nintendo Switch.
MLB: The Show 22 releases on April 5 on all consoles, with Angels pitcher and hitter Shohei Ohtani gracing the cover. MLB: The Show was previously a PlayStation exclusive, but since last year, MLB: The Show has moved to all consoles, including the Switch this year. Since PlayStation studios develop the Show, its availability on all consoles this year is very exciting for baseball fans who have missed out on The Show.
On top of The Show releasing on the Switch this year, according to developer San Diego Studio, the game will have full crossplay and cross-progression, meaning that Switch players will be able to join in on all the fun.
Players will be able to jump into the online game modes with other consoles and not worry about losing progress if they decide to upgrade to the next-gen console. Players will be able to keep their Diamond Dynasty team, their created player, and any other saved data across console generations.
