Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 now has buried treasure chests, and players will have to locate a few of these. These chests are located only in two spots on the map, and they can be identified easily, thanks to the distinctive ground marks.
Payers will consistently find hidden treasure chests at The Devoured landmark, east of Tilted Towers, and Tow-Away Beach landmark, east of The Joneses. These unnamed landmarks are close to major POIs, which allows players to gather weapons before heading into a fight.

Once you reach either of these landmarks, search for circular piles on the ground that are full of rocks. Use the harvesting tool to dig these piles, and the buried chest will appear. There will be at least four to five different chest spawns at these landmarks.
Both of these landmarks are pretty isolated, and not many players land at these spots. It's ideal to land at these places and dig up the loot as soon as you can before moving to other areas. Most of the time, players will find uncommon loot, which is good enough to start the match with.
