Nintendo's latest Direct offers insight into the plans for this famous video game company during the first half of 2022. The company has a hefty plate to start the year, with new titles abound in this showcase. While Nintendo showed plenty of new games in their Feb. 2022 Direct, known titles like Splatoon 3 also saw some action in this event.
The popular cooperative mode, Salmon Run, will return in Splatoon 3, with new enemies, weapons, and hazards for players to deal with in the horde mode. Players will need Nintendo Switch Online to participate in Salmon Run with their friends, just as they will with the multiplayer component of Splatoon 3.

Splatoon 3 launches in Summer 2022 for the Nintendo Switch, there is no concrete release date just yet, but more information is sure to come in the following months as summer draws closer.
