How to get Ascendant Alloy in Destiny 2

Get those Ascedant Alloys!

To get Ascendant Alloy in Destiny 2, you must buy the alloy from Rahool, complete Witch Queen missions, and reach Gunsmith rank 16. The simplest out of all three methods for getting Ascendant Alloy is to buy it from Master Rahool.

You can find Master Rahool at the Tower player hub, and Rahool will sell one alloy for the price of 400 Legendary Fragments. This may prove way too pricey for some players, especially since massing 400 Fragments can take forever.

Luckily, players can farm earn Legendary Fragments by dismantling Legendary weapons. You can also get Ascendant Alloys by dismantling Legendary and rare weapons through another method.

In short, dismantling weapons give the player experience towards the Gunsmith rank. That said, if players keep leveling their Gunsmith rank, at rank 16, they will earn one Ascendant Alloy.

Players can also earn a single Ascendant Alloy by completing the quest for weapon crafting. Weekly Campaign Missions at Legendary, Master, and Hero difficulties, also offer chances to earn Alloys.

Once you get an Ascendant Alloy in Destiny 2, you need to take it to Mars. At Mars, you can use the Alloy in Weapon reshaping to boost the traits of weapons you craft.
