The legendary guardian Pokémon, Tapu Lele, was added to Pokémon Go as a part of the Season of Alola celebration during the Lush Jungle event. Tapu Lele is featured in Five-Star Raids and will appear from March 22, 2022, to April 5, 2022. After a successful Raid battle, players have the chance to catch this legendary Pokémon, but unfortunately, it cannot be shiny when encountered.
Tapu Lele is a tough opponent and should only be battled with a group of five (or more) experienced players. Tapu Lele is a Fairy and Psychic-type Pokémon, which means players should bring Pokémon into the battle that can use Poison, Steel, or Ghost-type moves.
What else was included in the Lush Jungle event in Pokémon Go?
The Lush Jungle event brought many new additions to Pokémon Go. Along with the legendary Tapu Lele, the event debuted the Pokémon Fomantis and its evolution, Lurantis. These Pokémon are catchable in the wild and also lack a shiny variant in the game.

Other Alolan Pokémon missing from Pokémon Go have been added, with more on the way. Rockruff, the pre-evolution to the popular Lycanroc, is available in Raid battles as well. The Season of Alola celebration is a long-running event and will be around for the next several weeks.
