How to beat Gorimondo in Kirby and the Forgotten Land

Kirby and the Forgotten Land is full of exciting areas to explore and enemies to battle. After completing all of the stages in Natural Plains, the starting area in this game, players will come across the stage called The Brawl at the Mall. This is where Kirby battles his first major boss, Gorimondo. This ape-like character towers above our tiny pink puffball friend, which he puts to good use as he stomps away at Kirby.

How to complete all missions for Brawl at the Mall - Kirby and the Forgotten Land

There are five missions to fully complete the Brawl at the Mall stage. In order to rescue all of the Waddle Dees, players must finish the following tasks:

• Clear the stage
• Slip through Gorimondo's legs
• Defeat Gorimondo with the sword ability
• Clear within 2:00
• Clear without taking any damage

How to defeat Gorimondo

Tactics to use while fighting Gorimondo

In the first phase, Gorimondo barrages players with sweeping melee attacks and large boulders that he carves out of the earth. Once these rocks hit the ground, stars will become available for Kirby to pelt back at the boss.

After dealing enough damage, the boss will enter his second phase. Gorimondo will now attempt to stomp on Kirby, though this attack is easily spotted with plenty of time in advance to avoid it. Watch out for Gorimondo lifting his leg in the air, which will be the players sign to get out of dodge. Another attack that the boss utilizes in this phase is a spinning attack, though keeping distance is fairly easy and sufficient to avoid taking damage.
