Pokémon Go: Silent Schemes – All Quest Steps & Rewards

Recently within the world of Pokémon Go, Team Go Rocket has made another villainous attempt to disrupt the comings and goings of Pokémon and Trainers across the globe. Niantic announced that this latest event, All-Hands Rocket Retreat, will last from April 3, 2022, to April 7, 2022. Players will see Team Go Rocket more frequently in balloons and at PokéStops. During this event, Charged TMs can be used to allow Pokémon to unlearn the move Frustration.

All Quests and Rewards

In the Silent Schemes Questline, players will have the ability to complete six sets of Research Tasks. Completing each task will unlock rewards, with even more rewards acquired once players finish all three steps in a Research Task.

Quest 1/6:

• Defeat three Team Go Rocket Grunts - Three Hyper Potions
• Catch one Shadow Pokémon - One Revive
• Win a Raid Battle - Breloom encounter

Reward: Three Rare Candies, 1,000 XP, and 15 Pokéballs

Quest 2/6:

• Defeat five Team Go Rocket Grunts - 10 Nanab Berries
• Catch five Shadow Pokémon - 10 Pinap Berries
• Make three Nice Curveball Throws in a row - 10 Razz Berries

Reward: 1,500 XP, 1,000 Stardust, and 10 Great Balls

Quest 3/6:

• Defeat five Team Go Rocket Grunts - 1,000 XP
• Purify five Shadow Pokémon - 1,000 XP
• Earn three Candies walking with your Buddy Pokémon - 1,000 XP

Reward: Rocket Radar, 2,000 XP, and 15 Great Balls

Quest 4/6:

• Defeat Team Go Rocket Leader Arlo - 1,500 XP
• Defeat Team Go Rocket Leader Cliff - 1,500 XP
• Defeat Team Go Rocket Leader Sierra - 1,500 XP

Reward: Super Rocket Radar, 2,500 XP, and 1,000 Stardust

Quest 5/6:

• Find the Team Go Rocket Boss Giovanni - Five Max Potions
• Battle the Team Go Rocket Boss - 20 Ultra Balls
• Defeat the Team Go Rocket Boss - Five Max Revives

Reward: Two Golden Razz Berries, one Lucky Egg, and 3,000 XP

Quest 6/6:

• Claim Reward - 2,500 XP
• Claim Reward - 2,500 XP
• Claim Reward - 2,500 XP

Reward: One Fast TM, one Charged TM, and two Silver Pinap Berries

Tips for the Silent Schemes Questline

Before working through the Silent Schemes Questline, players can take note of a couple of tips and tricks.

• Be sure to battle every Team Go Rocket Grunt encountered to ensure that the questline can be finished in the short duration of the event.
• Build up a supply of Pinap Berries and use these on each of the Shadow Pokémon to gain enough Candies to purify them.
• Know the Pokémon lineup of the Team Go Rocket Leaders Arlo, Cliff, and Sierra before battling to make sure that they are properly countered. Choose a team of Pokémon that either has super-effective moves against them or ones that aren't affected by Team Rocket's moves.
