In patch 6.1 of Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker, a pair of new battle animation emotes were added. Titled /draw and /sheathe, these emotes enhance the potential of your character to pose, get ready for battle, and otherwise look cool.
They add unique drawing and sheathing animations for all classes, giving a huge variety of actions to the game. We tried it out on a Samurai, and this pair of animations make sure you’re ready to star in your very own Kurosawa film… only with Moogles.

To unlock them, head to the Gold Saucer. Talk to the Gold Saucer Attendant <Prize Claim> NPC. They’re located at X: 5.2, Y: 6.6 in the Gold Saucer. Select Prize Echange III and filter by most recently added.
The pair of emotes are unlocked by purchasing the two Ballroom Etiquette books, Forearmed is Forewarned, and Easily at Ease. The former is for the /draw emote while the latter is for the Sheathe emote. Each cost 100,000 MGP, so they’re not cheap. But with a week or so of MGP grinding they can easily be yours.
These emotes are obviously nothing groundbreaking, but it's nice to have some variety, especially when you’re trying to make your Warrior of Light look cool in the group pose or screenshot.
