All Major Agent Changes in Valorant Patch 4.08

Can you still clutch with Jett?

In Episode 4 Act 3, Riot Games have made some game-changing nerfs to several popular agents. This includes the nerf to Jett's Tailwind ability and the airtime for Sova's Owl Drone. At the same time, the developers also buffed less-picked agents like Neon.

All major highlights from Valorant update patch note 4.08

Sova

Sova has been a staple in the competitive and ranked scenarios ever since its launch. So, the developers have decided to nerf his entire kit ability to make other initiators more viable.

Owl Drone

  • Airtime reduced from 10s to 8s
  • Health reduced from 125 to 100

Recon Dart

  • Number of reveal pings reduced from 3 to 2
  • Initial reveal delay time increased from 1.2s to 1.6s

Shock Dart

  • Will now deal 75 damage instead of the previous 90.

Jett

Jett has been the most aggressive agent in the entire game. This offensive character trait mainly arises due to her tailwind ability. So, the designers have put the skill to ease with a big nerf.

Tailwind

  • She will only be able to dash within a 12-second window after pressing the Tailwind ability key. If not utilized, the ability will go to waste and can be recharged after securing two kills.

Neon

Riot Games introduced Neon with all might and pride last season. But did not gain popularity among players due to her weak kit, understanding that a buff has provided to the dashing teen.

General

Overall battery energy received after killing increased from 25% to 100%

High Gear

  • She can now slide forwards and sidewards using the ability.
  • Velocity restriction for sliding has been removed.

Fast Lane

  • Allys will no longer receive damage from the Wall.

Apart from these changes, the developers have fixed several existing bugs from a UIgameplay, and performance standpoint. You can read the complete patch note from the official PlayValorant website.
