Sometimes, when you remember Fortnite, you get a question like "When did this season come out?" and it's hard to determine the answer because Fortnite is already on Chapter 3 and new seasons are numbered the same as previous ones. Luckily, we've kept track.
- Chapter 1 Season 4 - May 4, 2018 to June 12, 2018
- The age of superheroes was really when Fortnite started to change with its themes. While this wasn't the time of full changes, it was enough to set the stage for many other big partnerships.
- Chapter 2 Season 4 - Aug. 27, 2020 to Dec. 1, 2020
- Fortnite's partnership with Marvel was widely regarded as one of the best seasons of the game. Fortnite's Nexus war brought Thor, Wolverine, and many other superheroes to the game, and it showed how lucrative it could be even during the pandemic.
Fortnite has revolved both season 4s around superheroes. You could assume that they may continue the trend with Chapter 3 Season 4, but we are still a couple of seasons away from that. If we had to guess, it won't necessarily revolve around superheroes.
Fortnite makes a lot of money from its partnerships, so we don't think they'll stick to a theme just because it made a pattern. If Chapter 3 Season 4 is about superheroes, then we can assume that Chapter 4 Season 4 will also be about superheroes.
