In Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters, there are eight classes. Four of these classes are base classes all Grey Knights start with, and four are advanced classes that eventually unlock. Here you will find all eight classes explained and how you should use them.
Justicar
The Justicar is your go-to front-line or Tank class in Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters. Justicars gain access to Terminator armor early on and have starting abilities that grant them the use of Storm Bolters. Their other skills revolve around giving allies buffs to Armor, AP, and various ranged and strong melee attacks. We recommend using Justicars with dual purpose as heavy assault units and tanks to drive fire away from weaker Grey Knights.

Apothecary
Apothecaries are the healer class in Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters. The class gains access to numerous abilities for healing your Grey Knights in Battle. They also have multiple abilities that can buff other Grey Knights damage. On top of healing and buff abilities, Apothecaries can also extract more Boon Seeds using special abilities and unlock special Psychic Attacks and abilities that improve the use of Servo Skulls. We recommend using Apothecaries in their intended role as support units. We recommend using the Apothecary to heal and buff your Grey Knights. You should also keep Apothecaries in the back and only move them to close in on seed carriers for Seed Bloom extraction or for healing allies.
Interceptor
Interceptors are similar to Justicars and have some of the same abilities but are more maneuverable. Additionally, Interceptors can use teleport abilities to quickly reposition or attack flanking foes. Because of this, we recommend using Interceptors as your melee strike force. Interceptors are also great for hunting down enemies with Psychic abilities and preventing them from buffing other enemies.
Purgator
Purgators are a special class of Grey Knights that gain access to powerful ranged weapons. Additionally, the class can unlock powerful abilities to boost their ranged damage or to provide heavy fire support in the field. We recommend using Purgators as your heavy fire support during missions and pinning down enemies. Purgators also don't have any melee weapons, so it would be best to keep them out of direct contact with enemies.
All Advance classes in Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters
Alongside the four base classes in Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters, there are several advanced classes. The following are all four Advanced Classes:
- Paladin: Paladins are a special class that centers around being a powerful melee combatant. Additionally, Paladins serve a role similar to the Justicar but with a stronger focus on defense. Paladins can also unlock Advance Terminator Armor. Use Paladins in the same role as Justicars during missions.
- Chaplain: Chaplains are an advanced class that specializes in giving fellow Grey Knights buffs. These buffs come in the form of Prayers and Litanies. Think of this class as an advanced version of the Apothecary, and use them accordingly.
- Librarian: Librarians are a class that gets access to powerful Psyker abilities. These abilities will allow Librarians to send out powerful range attacks to target enemies from afar. Librarians are best used as advanced ranged support.
- Purifier: The Purifier class is similar to the Purgator class but with a stronger focus on flamers. In fact, their abilities can remove afflictions and mutations with sanctified flames. We recommend using Purifiers as a close-range ranged attack force.
