"No, not the huge one...the MASSIVE one!"

Monster Hunter Rise received a massive amount of content with the Sunbreak expansion. The game retains the same core gameplay, harvesting items, hunting monsters, and crafting gear. However, there has been an almost overwhelming amount of content added. Part of the new hunt is farming items like Massive Monster Bone for crafting the new Master Rank gear.

Massive Monster Bone is found by gathering from bone piles in Master Rank zones. Once it has been looted for the first time, hunters can have their palamute use the Sniff It Out! command to quickly identify all bone piles on a map for easy farming. Massive Monster Bone can be found in each of the following zones:

  • Shrine Ruins
  • Flooded Forest
  • Frost Islands
  • Sandy Plains

Massive Monster Bone, like many other bone variations, is primarily used early on in crafting gear. As such, when starting Master Rank hunts, it's a good idea to keep an eye out for bone piles in order to harvest them.
