What does Font of Might do in Destiny 2?

Font of Might has the following description: "Picking up an elemental well that matches your subclass energy type grants a temporary bonus to weapon damage of that same elemental type." Community research has determined that this buff is a +25% to weapons with the matching element for 10 seconds. Ada-1 sells it in the Tower on a random rotation.

Elemental Wells is a combat-type mod similar to Charged with Light or Warmind Cells. Elemental Wells are small orbs that grant ability energy when picked up, similar to Orbs of Power. Any Well that is spawned is available for the entire team and is instanced. Guardians will need a Wellmaker ability and a mod like Font of Might to use the build.
