How to pass the third trial in the Genshin Impact Dreams Beneath the Searing Sand World Quest

Dreams Beneath the Searing Sand is the fourth part of the Golden Slumber World Questline, detailing the archaeological team's expedition to the Khaj-Nisut. After finding clues in the area, you'll be asked to Pass the three trials, located west, north, and south of the area.

While you can do the three trials in any order, this guide will walk you through all the puzzle solutions to complete the trial south of Khaj-Nisut. You can find walkthroughs of the other puzzles below:

How to Pass the three trials (3/3) in the Genshin Impact Dreams Beneath the Searing Sand Sumeru World Quest

Follow the quest marker toward the south of Khaj-Nisut, where you'll find a pyramid-shaped entrance to a monument. Enter it and interact with the Control Unit at the top of the stairs, which will open up an entry on the right side. Jump down (be careful of fall damage!) to enter a room filled with barriers. Your goal is to find a way to the floor.

Assuming you're facing the statue pictured above, follow the steps below to reach the lower floor:

• Turn right until you reach a dead end.
• Go forward but stay close to the barrier on the right, and stop once there is no more wall blocking your right side.
• Turn right and keep going until you reach a dead end.
• Go forward until you reach a dead end.
• Turn left but stay close to the barrier in front of you, and stop once there is no more wall blocking your path forward.
• Go forward until you feel an intersection.
• Turn right a few steps, then go forward to jump down to the floor below.

Still assuming the statue is in front of you, do these steps next:

• Turn left until you reach a dead end.
• Move downward and stop once there is no more wall blocking your left side.
• Turn left and keep going until you reach the ledge.
• Move downward until you reach a dead end.
• Turn right until you feel an intersection.
• Move downward to jump down to the floor below.

Once you're on the floor, circle around the Control Unit until you're facing it, then interact with it to pass the third trial.
