How to drive five vehicle types in Violence and Timing – MW2 Campaign Guide

While playing the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign, you can challenge yourself to achieve several achievements or trophies by completing various challenges throughout the story. One such achievement in the game, Test Drive, can be completed in the Violence and Timing mission where you are involved in a rescue mission against an Al-Qatala convoy deploying mines, drones, and rockets.

MW2 Test Drive Trophy/Achievement guide

The Test Drive trophy requires you to drive five vehicle types in the Violence and Timing chapter. After a rocket hits Nikolai's chopper, the impact throws Gaz out and leaves him hanging upside down on the freeway. Soon enough, Nikolai positions the helicopter on top of a Cargo Truck, which Sergeant Garrick can drop. This is the first vehicle that you can hijack and drive. You can commandeer the Truck by approaching the driver's seat from the top and pressing the interact button.

Right after this, lean out the window and eliminate the enemies in the Pickup Truck next to you. Now climb on your Truck's roof and carefully jump onto the Pickup Truck, which will be your second vehicle type during this mission in Modern Warfare 2. Keep changing vehicles like this while ensuring it's a completely different vehicle type than those you've already driven.

You can see in the images above that the third and fourth vehicle types that we boarded were an open-back Truck and an APC, respectively. You must acquire a civilian vehicle for the fifth and final vehicle required to complete the Test Drive achievement. You will find several cars and vans parked on the roadside that you can drive. However, you may die while attempting to jump on them while moving. We recommend stopping your vehicle and taking one of the parked cars.
