How to win 2v2 in Gulag in Warzone 2

Do you have what it takes to survive?

In Call of Duty Warzone 2, players will experience a new Gulag system. Instead of the traditional 1v1 fight to escape and return to the game, players will now participate in a 2v2 format. That's not all, players will even come across a super strong AI combatant named 'The Jailer', and he is almost as strong as a Juggernaut. Here's how players can win the 2v2 fight in Gulag in Warzone 2.

How to team up and win Gulag in Warzone 2

Screenshot by Pro Game Guides

After dying for the first time in a match in Warzone 2, players are sent to the Gulag. The new system pairs up players with a random teammate. The objective is to eliminate the two opponents and escape the Gulag. Although, even if you lose the Gulag, teammates who are alive can buy you back in the match by spending $4000 at the Buy Station. The Jailer AI is a new mechanic added to Gulag, and players can team up with the two opponents to defeat the Jailer together.

If all four Gulag participants team up and beat The Jailer, then both teams are sent back to the match with a Gulag victory. Make sure to use Proximity Chat to speak to your opponents, and see if they are up for the smarter move. Most often you'll find players fighting each other, but this new mechanic allows you to fight the AI and come out of the Gulag without too much hassle.

In the Gulag, players are given specific loadouts, Pistols or Shotguns, with Lethal and Tactical equipment. There is plenty of high-tier loot scattered at the center of the map in Gulag, and picking them up first always gives your team an advantage. For instance, you can throw one Lethal equipment at the enemy to damage or distract them, then quickly pick up another to stay ready for the situation.

The traditional Overtime mechanic is also replaced. If all four participants and The Jailer are alive at the end, then all the four players lose the Gulag. Communicating with teammates, and opponents is the best method to plan out the fight in the Gulag. Although there is a chance of enemies being too kill-hungry, you can strategically get all four members out by avoiding a fight between the two teams in Warzone 2.
