It's the most wonderful time of the year. Or, at least it will be, come December 6, 2023. What began as a datamine leak in the wee hours of the morning turned into confirmed truth from Destiny 2 and Assassin's Creed Valhalla publishers Bungie and Ubisoft.
The crossover was confirmed in a tweet from the official Bungie Twitter account. This isn't the first collaboration that Destiny 2 has had with other franchises. In months past, it dropped into Fortnite and Fall guys, each with three skins. So, while this Assassin's Creed collaboration has appeared like an assassin in the night, it's beginning to set a precedent for Bungie to open up its sci-fi shooter to more crossovers.

The exchange begins on December 6, 2023. Assassin's Creed is getting skins for Lord Shaxx and Saint-14 alongside what appears to be a wolf and raven. Shaxx looks like he is wielding an Iron Banner sword while Saint-14 is going to battle with the sword of his partner, Osiris.
The Destiny 2 side of things is getting three skins, one for each of its classes. Titans appear to be going the Nordic Viking look, Hunters are getting the Mediterranean garb, and Warlocks are dressing up in classic middle-eastern attire. Also coming are a new ship, sparrow, and Ghost shell inspired by a Piece of Eden. Also notable for Destiny 2 is that Season 19 begins on December 6, 2023, so there will be plenty for Guardians to look forward to. Prepare your wallets!
