Best Assault Rifles in Warzone 2 Season 1

In Season 1 of Warzone 2, the following Assault Rifles outshine the other weapons in their class:

  • TAQ-56: Best overall, with great damage, range, and accuracy.
  • Kastov 762: Higher damage output than TAQ-56, but harder to control.
  • Kastov 74u: This AR-SMG hybrid is the best sniper support weapon in the game.
  • M4: A well-balanced gun with low recoil and decent time-to-kill (TTK).

Before taking a look at the best loadouts for these weapons, note that the optic to be used on them is a matter of preference. You can use a high-zoom optic like the VLK 4.0, but it'll translate to more recoil. For better accuracy and control, stick to a low-magnification optic, such as Aim OP-V4, DF105 Reflex Sight, and Cronen Mini Pro.
