How to get Burst Assault Rifle in Fortnite

If you're looking for a weapon perfect for medium to long-range engagements in Fortnite, the Burst Assault Rifle is the perfect weapon for the job. Not only does it have first-shot accuracy that makes careful aiming and patient firing over long ranges deadly accurate, it also has great base damage over these ranges. However, the problem can be getting your hands on one of these weapons, especially when it comes to some of the more powerful variants.

Where to find a Burst Assault Rifle in Fortnite

Where to find a Burst Assault Rifle depends on what quality said rifle is. This is due to the fact that different qualities of the Burst Assault Rifle only appear in certain ways. For example, where one quality of rifle can be found on the ground wherever you go, another less common quality will be much harder to come by. Below is a list of the qualities of Burst Assault Rifle available as well as where to find them:

• Common: The most standard version of the Burst Assault Rifle can spawn anywhere as Floor Loot or can be fished up from any plain fishing area.
• Uncommon: The Uncommon version of this weapon can be found in regular chests or as Floor Loot.
• Rare: This version of the rifle can be found as Floor Loot, in regular chests, or in fishing holes.
• Epic: The Epic version of the Burst Assault Rifle can be found in regular chests, rare chests, Supply Drops, or fishing holes.
• Legendary: Lastly, the Legendary version can be found in all the same ways as the Epic version, just at a reduced drop rate.

While the above list tells how to find different qualities of the rifle, there are also two Mythic variants of the weapon that each have or had unique spawning requirements:

• Ocean's Burst Assault Rifle: This Mythic variant of the Burst Assault Rifle sports pretty much everything the regular one does, but with better stats than even a Legendary quality rifle. It was obtainable by taking down the boss Ocean who was in Chapter 2: Season 3.
• Slone's Burst Assault Rifle: Not to be mistaken with Slone's Striker Burst Rifle, this is another Mythic variant of the Burst Assault Rifle, this one has increased stats and also a zoom function, making it even better for long-range engagements. It was obtainable in Chapter 3: Season 2 by taking down the Doctor Slone boss in the IO Staging Facility.
