Shiny Swirlix is in Pokémon GO. It's shiny form changes the base color from a strawberry pink to a chocolatey brown color. This is one of the more drastic color changes for a shiny Pokémon, so it's a cool one to have in your storage. Other trainers will surely be jealous of your rare puffball Pokémon when its thrown onto Gyms or used in Raids.

How to catch a shiny Swirlix in Pokémon GO

You can get a shiny Swirlix in any way that the base variant is available. This means that when catching a Swirlix in a Wild Encounter, Egg Hatch, Research Task reward, or Raid Boss, there is a chance for a shiny one to appear. These methods have very low success rates though. The easiest way to get ahold of a shiny Swirlix is to wait until it is featured in an event, celebration, Community Day, or Spotlight Hour. Spotlight Hours have featured Swirlix in the past, and other Pokémon like Staryu, so it's not out of the question that the Pokémon will appear in this way again.
