How to farm in The Survival Game – Roblox

Jump into the ultimate survival game on Roblox, where you are a castaway on an island and must survive with whatever the land has to offer. You'll have to keep your hunger up to stay healthy and strong, which means you'll need to find a way to get a constant source of food. Farming is one of the best ways to keep getting food supply, and it can offer some of the best foods to regain hunger and health. Here's how to start planting and growing your own crops.

How to grow crops in The Survival Game

To begin farming, you'll need the right tools and materials. You won't be able to begin plowing the proper soil without a Shovel. So first, make sure you have a Crafting Table placed near your desired camp. To do this, you'll need a Hammer, which you should have at the very start of the game. Creating a Crafting Table requires five pieces of wood and two ropes. You can easily get these by chopping down nearby trees, opening your crafting menu with C, and making two ropes with your leaves.

The Shovel will be at the bottom left of the Crafting Bench menu, and you will need sharp stones, a tool handle, and two ropes to craft it. You can make all these right at your Crafting Bench as well; just be sure to collect the proper wood, stone, and leaves from nearby resources.

Once you craft the Shovel, make sure you have it equipped to your bottom toolbar by opening your Inventory with E. Find the Shovel within your Inventory menu, press Equip on the right-hand side, and then select the empty numbered slot you wish to equip it to. Now that you have your Shovel ready, you can begin tilling the land.

Press the matching number of your Shovel slot on your keyboard to get out your Shovel. Ensure you have the option Till Soil selected on the left side of your screen. This will allow you to add or remove plots of soil. Hover over the ground with your mouse and notice the highlighted square. This is where your plot will be placed, but it will need to be on flat grass or dirt ground. When the square lights up green, you can place the soil down on that space. You will see little rows of soil once it is placed. If you accidentally place one in a spot you don't want, just select the Remove button on the left and click on it again.

After you till all the plots of soil, you can begin planting your seeds. Select the icon Plant Seeds directly under the Till Soil option on the left side of the screen. This will reveal all the seed options you currently have available. To get seeds, you'll need to locate some wild carrot or wheat plants and have some carrots or wheat in your inventory.

Select the available seeds in the smaller icons beside Plant Seeds and then click on the plot of soil you wish them to grow in. It will light up green when the soil is available to be planted in. If you see the little plants begin growing in the soil, you know you have successfully planted them. Now you can wait for them to grow and harvest them with your rock or axe.

Farming is one of the best ways to keep a constant food supply at your island camp. Once you begin growing and harvesting them, you should always have a profitable amount, some to plant and some to eat. Wheat can be great for crafting and cooking up some tasty food with your carrots.
