The Ballista is a craftable weapon that you first need to unlock by building other structures from the Structures tab in your building menu. To do so, open your building menu by selecting the Hammer item. Then, go to the Structures tab and build the Wood Pole, Stone Wall, Stone Window, Stone Floor, and then the Castle Wall. After building the Castle Wall, you will have unlocked the Ballista. To build it, you will need 10 Wood Planks, six Wooden Rod, and 10 Rope.

After building the Ballista, you also need to craft Ballista Bolts to be able to use the weapon. One Ballista Bolt requires one Iron Bar to produce. Iron bars can be crafted in the Iron Forge using Iron Ores.

The Ballista requires Ballista Bolts to fire the weapon. To use it, simply walk over it to take control. The trajectory of the bolt will be highlighted by a white line. You aim the Ballista by using your movement keys, and use your left mouse button to fire. It might be a little difficult to use, but one hit from the Ballista can deal a massive amount of damage, making the enemy thinking twice about their approach. Line up your castle walls with Ballistas to deter enemy attacks, or simply to assert dominance over the server.
