The Apex Legends Celestial Sunrise event celebrates Lunar New Year with 24 collection cosmetics, the new hardcore royale game mode, and daily challenges to collect free rewards. The event runs from January 24, 2023, to February 7, 2023.
Throughout the event, players can purchase collection items with Apex Coins, Crafting Metals, or find them in Celestial Sunrise Apex Packs. Collecting all 24 items will unlock the Jadeite Retribution Peacekeeper skin, which fans have widely criticized for being a replacement for the usual Heirlooms or Prestige skins released with collection events.

Opalescent Serpent Ash Skin
The Opalescent Serpent Legendary Ash skin seems to be inspired by the Year of the Snake in the Chinese Zodiac calendar. The skin features a light coral, white, and jade color scheme, complete with snake heads and scales on Ash's outfit. The Opalescent Serpent skin is available during the Celestial Sunrise event in the event tab for 2,400 Crafting Metals or 1,800 Apex Coins.
Lion Guard Caustic Skin
The Lion Guard Legendary Caustic skin seems to be also inspired by the Chinese Zodiac calendar. The skin features traditional-looking Chinese armor with a massive lion head as the breastplate. The Lion Guard skin is available during the Celestial Sunrise event in the event tab for 2,400 Crafting Metals or 1,800 Apex Coins.
Lucky Rabbit Octane Skin
The Lucky Rabbit Legendary Octane skin is inspired by the Year of the Rabbit and features a full rabbit mask. Octane also sports overalls with lucky red envelopes in his front pockets. The Lucky Rabbit skin is available during the Celestial Sunrise event in the event tab for 2,400 Crafting Metals or 1,800 Apex Coins.
Dragon Warrior Pathfinder Skin
The Dragon Warrior Legendary skin gives Pathfinder elegant green armor fit with gold accessories including a dragon wrapping around his shoulder and a Guandao sheathed on his back. The Dragon Warrior skin is available during the Celestial Sunrise event in the event tab for 2,400 Crafting Metals or 1,800 Apex Coins.
Jade Fortress Newcastle Skin
The Jade Fortress Epic Newcastle skin features a green and gold design, fitting Newcastle's massive armor set. A large glowing jade tiger design can also be seen on the breastplate. The Jade Fortress skin is available during the Celestial Sunrise event in the event tab for 800 Crafting Metals or 1,000 Apex Coins.
Operatic Aquamarine Wattson Skin
The Operatic Aquamarine Epic Skin gives Wattson an eye-catching teal outfit with a flowery hood. The Jade Fortress skin is available during the Celestial Sunrise event in the event tab for 800 Crafting Metals or 1,000 Apex Coins.
