Season of Defiance released alongside the Lightfall expansion of Destiny 2, giving players a ton of new content to explore. This season provides several methods of farming XP, such as Seasonal Challenges and the Lightfall campaign. As a reward for completing these challenges, you receive Bright Dust, War Table upgrades, and massive amounts of XP. These challenges require you to defeat certain enemy types and finish Defiant Battleground missions, along with several other demands. Here's a list of all Seasonal Challenges in Destiny 2's Season of Defiance.

Week 1 Seasonal Challenges (2/28/2023)

  • Righteous Defiance
    • Complete Defiant Battleground: EDZ.
  • Awaken, Queensguard
    • Complete Week One of the "We Stand Unbroken" quest.
  • Legion's Bounty
    • Earn a Defiant Key by either completing Lightfall campaign missions, Terminal Overload in Neomuna, raids, Vanguard Ops playlist activities, Gambit matches, or Crucible matches.
    • Spend a Defiant Key at the end of a Defiant Battlegrounds playlist activity.
  • Silver Lining
    • Reach Rank 12 with Nimbus in Neomuna.
  • Keycard-Operated
    • Use keys to unlock two Terminal Overload Key Chests in Neomuna.
  • Neptune Activities
    • In Neomuna, complete bounties, patrols, public events, and Lost Sectors.
  • Taking All Challenges
    • Complete weekly playlist challenges.
  • Spark Defender
    • Score points in the Rift Crucible game mode. Earn bonus progress by igniting the Rift.
  • Anti-Cabal Sweep
    • Defeat Cabal combatants in Vanguard playlists or strikes. Earn bonus progress for defeating tougher combatants.
  • Deadly Horizons
    • Defeat opponents with long-range weapons in Neomuna. Earn bonus progress by defeating enemies in Lost Sectors.
