With a new subclass comes plenty of new terminologies. Destiny 2's Strand brings a lot of perks, but one that's introduced early on is Woven Mail. Here's what it does and how to trigger it.

Destiny 2 Strand Ability - Woven Mail
Woven Mail is a Strand buff that can grant flinch resistance, create Tangles with weapon final blows, and increases melee regeneration while active. At the time of this article, there are two pieces of Exotic armor, one Aspect, and two Strand Fragments that can make use of the buff in various ways.

Exotic Armor that Grants Woven Mail
- Abeyant Leap - Titan Leg Armor
- Puppeteer's Control: Drengr's Lash spawns two additional projectiles, tracks targets more aggressively, and travels farther. Grants Woven Mail when suspending targets.
- Cyrtarachne's Facade - Hunter Helm
- Acrobat's Focus: Gain Woven Mail when activating grapple. Increased flinch resistance while Woven Mail is active.
Strand Aspects and Fragments that Grant Woven Mail
- Titan Aspect
- Into the Fray: Destroying a Tangle or casting your Super grants Woven Mail for nearby allies. While you have Woven Mail, your melee regeneration rate is increased.
- Strand Fragments
- Thread of Transmutation: While you have Woven Mail, weapon final blows create a Tangle.
- Thread of Warding: Picking up an Orb of Power grants Woven Mail.
