As such, the marker always points in one, specific direction and never deviates from it. This is because it is designed to give you a reliable sense of direction toward the conclusion point of each level. Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty features plenty of off-shoot paths and twisting corridors to get lost in. So, that little red marker helps you keep your wits about so you can freely explore each of Wo Long's expansive maps without permanently losing your way.

What does the Orange Marker on your minimap mean in Wo Long?

The orange marker is your revenge target. Basically, it shows the location of the last thing that killed you so you can slaughter to claim back your experience. Unlike other soul-like games, you do not collect your experience from the ground. You have to kill the enemy that killed you to claim it all back. If you fail to kill your revenge target, that experience is gone forever, and you'll need to earn it back the old fashioned way.
