Battle passes are fixtures in nearly every live service RPG. Honkai: Star Rail's rendition of this popular mechanic is called the Nameless Honor, which involves completing daily, weekly, and season-wide tasks in exchange for in-game resources.
How to unlock Nameless Honor in Honkai Star Rail
Honkai: Star Rail's battle pass, the Nameless Honor, unlocks after completing the following prerequisites:
- Reach Trailblaze Level 13
- Complete the Trailblaze Mission "Long Wait for the Blade's Edge" in Jarilo-VI
Once you complete the above, the Nameless Honor will automatically unlock. You can access it via the corresponding icon on the upper right of the screen, or through the phone menu.

How does Nameless Honor work in Honkai Star Rail
Upon accessing the Nameless Honor menu, you can switch between the tabs at the top of the screen to view the Missions and Rewards. Missions are divided into three categories:
- Today's Missions, which refresh after the daily reset
- This Week's Missions, which refresh after the weekly reset (Mondays)
- This Period's Missions, which refresh every battle pass season (40 days)
Completing Missions will reward you with EXP, which goes toward your Nameless Honor Level. Every time you level up, you can claim a Reward.
How much are battle pass upgrades (Nameless Glory & Nameless Medal) in Honkai Star Rail?
The Nameless Honor battle pass contains both free and paid tiers. Naturally, the paid tier offers better rewards—but you must shell out real-life money in exchange. Click on Unlock Nameless Glory to view the two upgrade tiers:
- Nameless Glory (9.99 USD) - This unlocks an additional reward tier, so you can claim double rewards per level up. Notable rewards include the following:
- x1 Four-star Light Cone selector (claim at Level 30)
- x680 Stellar Jade
- x4 Star Rail Special Pass
- x3 Rare material selector
- x4 Material selector
- Nameless Medal (19.99 USD) - This unlocks all Nameless Glory rewards, plus additional rewards below. The additional rewards can be claimed immediately upon purchase:
- x10 Nameless Honor Levels
- Himeko - Welcome (Avatar)
- Welt - Welcome (Avatar)
- x200 Stellar Jade
- x5 Fuel
Meanwhile, you can also Purchase Levels for 150 Stellar Jade each.
Are battle pass upgrades (Nameless Glory & Nameless Medal) worth it in Honkai Star Rail?
The Nameless Glory is worth it if you're interested in the limited Light Cones and are sure that you can play the game enough to get the max level. Otherwise, the rewards are rather lackluster for the price. If you're on a budget, the monthly pass (Express Supply Pass) is better value for money.
Meanwhile, the Nameless Medal is generally not worth it as the main rewards are cosmetic (Avatars). However, if you're a big fan of customizing your profile and love visual collectibles, such as Avatars, then you might enjoy the once-a-month splurge.
I'm personally not a fan of battle passes, and Honkai: Star Rail's is no different. But if you have the extra funds and genuinely love the rewards, then, by all means, enjoy yourself!
