Honkai Star Rail Signs of Fragmentum Mission Walkthrough

Where are those sneaky little ghosts?

In Honkai: Star Rail, you have the opportunity to dive through repeatable missions similar to Genshin Impact's Domains. On the Herta Space Station you'll eventually unlock a side mission called Signs of Fragmentum that is a three-part domain with a twist. You'll be fighting enemies and using the camera function to weaken them, plus find some adorable Wubbaboos. Here's what to do.

To start these quests, talk to the Security Department Member indicated by the blue diamond on the first floor of the Storage Zone. You can only challenge the Signs of Fragmentum Expeditions in order from level one to three. It's recommended to use characters at level 44 or higher for the first mission, and level 48 for the third.

Set up your team and click Start Challenge to begin. There is no recommended element for these challenges. I used four starter characters: Natasha, March 7th, Dan Heng, and Asta.

When you start the quest, you'll be briefly told that your mission is to find beacon data using your camera.

To use your Camera, select the camera icon in the bottom right corner of the screen. There is no button to take pictures once in camera mode. Your object is to hover the camera screen over points of interest long enough for the game to recognize it as captured. You'll be asked to capture a photo of all of the Wubbaboos on the level to gather the beacon data.

It's also important to note, using the camera function on enemies before initiating a battle will cause them to take extra damage. You'll only have five turns collectively to destroy all the enemies on this level. Using the camera will help you to meet this requirement needed to collect your Stellar Jade at the end of the mission. So, do not forget to use the camera on enemies, as well. If a Wubbaboo or an enemy is nearby, the camera icon will flash yellow.

There are four Wubbaboos to find in this mission. The first Wubbaboo is pictured above, staring at the technician right where you start.

The second Wubbaboo is inside the antechamber on the right hand side, staring at the second enemy you'll encounter.

If you go to the back Curio room on the right hand side, and look towards the ceiling in the front left corner of the room, you'll find this Wubbaboo.

The final Wubbaboo is hiding in the left-hand side curio room, between two pedestals in the back right corner of the room.

You only need four to complete the mission, but there is a bonus Wubbaboo hanging out at the top of the yellow door frame between the curio rooms and the main storage zone, if you look from the side of the curio rooms. You'll need to find this Wubbaboo to meet the extra Wubbawoo requirement.

Return the Beacon data to the Maintenance member where you started the mission to finish.

All Wubbaboos in the second Signs of Fragmentum Expedition

The rules of the expedition stay the same in the next two expeditions. Your objective is to defeat the enemies and find the Wubbaboos. There are Five Wubbaboos to find in the second expedition.

The first is hanging out down below, beneath the control room. While it is nearby the start of the expedition, this one was the most difficult for me to find.

The second is tucked away by a plant inside the control room.

The third is hidden in a back room. You'll need to solve an Unearthly Marvel puzzle to find it. Both the puzzle and the Wubbaboo are pictured above.

In the opposite back room, a Wubbaboo is hanging out above the door frame, just like in the first expedition.

The last Wubbaboo is hiding in a corner where you would normally be able to use a terminal to create a bridge.

The second and third are by the Blaze out of Space. One is under the walkway, the other is across the Unearthly Marvel Puzzle. It is the same puzzle you solve when re-exploring the Storage Zone, nearby Herta.

To get to the fourth Wubbaboo, you'll need to solve a unique Unearthly Marvel Puzzle pictured above, once you've crossed the bridge, the Wubbaboo is hiding in a front corner of the room.
