One of my favorite features in open-world games is exploring and finding nearby gear, such as armor and weapons. Zelda Tears of the Kingdom has several amazing outfits that give passive buffs and armor protection to help Link survive in Hyrule. If you're looking for your best DPS armor in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, it's the Barbarian Armor; here is where to find it.
How to get the Barbarian Armor in Tears of the Kingdom
The Barbarian armor provides three armor ratings per piece but also gives you a passive attack increase for each part of the set you are wearing. You will need the chest piece, helm, and leg wraps to complete the set. This and many outfits can also be dyed to change the color.
Barbarian Chest Armor Location
The Barbarian Chest Armor can be found at Crenel Hills Cave, which is northeast of Central Hyrule. Be on your guard, as the cave contains a Stone Talus boss you must defeat. Once he has been dealt with, if you shoot an arrow with a bomb flower fused to it at the luminous rocks on the wall, this will reveal a hidden path that will take you to the Barbarian Chest piece.

Barbarian Helm Location
The Barbarian Helm can be found at Robred Dropoff Cave, which is northeast in west Necluda. This cave can be tricky, and I struggled to find the helm here. Follow the cave until you reach the room with the statues in a circle. This room has multiple ways you can go from here. If you want to explore, however, turn right and destroy the cracked rocks on the wall. Follow this path and defeat the Mokoblins blocking your way.
From this room, you can see the chest blocked by bars. In the center of the room, there are cracked rocks on the floor you can destroy. Follow this path to the final room and use Ascend when standing on the platform with three statues. This will take you to the room with the Barbarian Helm piece.
Barbarian Leg Wraps Location
The Barbarian Leg Wraps are found further in west Necluda, in Walnut Mountain Cave. This cave has several tough enemies that you can either engage or run past. Follow the path on the right until you reach the Ice creature hanging from the ceiling. Head underneath the creature to the platform that has the chest. The chest is frozen solid, and you'll need to use fire to defrost it. I threw fire fruit at the ice until it melted.
